I have microsoft.net framework 2.0 SP2 installed previously. Now that I have updated with service pack 3.0, can I uninstall 2.0 as it is a resource hog (180MB).

It seems that it is difficult to uninstall Mivrosoft.net Framework when you have upgraded. I have found some useful information that can be helpful to your question. Uninstall it following steps below: Go to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.5\Windows Presentation Foundation\DotNetAssistantExtension in Windows Explorer and delete everything in that folder but keep the folder name. I am really appreciate it if you can benefit from the steps above. Of course, you can do so by following the steps found at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824643/en-us
