Hey everyone, just wanted you to know about the walk in November. It is in honor of those we have lost to suicide, and the money raised goes to educating doctors, helping with depression, both with the goal of preventing suicides. Me and some of my family, and much of Brian's Texas family will be going, and everyone is invited. Below I have attached the link to the registration form. You can find out more information there, and get in contact with Sue, the lady who helps organize the walk. http://www.ryanendsley.com/ Also, National Survivors of Suicide Day is Saturday, November 21, 2009 Below is some information emailed to me that may be of interested to anyone else who has been touched by suicide. "Join with other survivors of suicide loss at a conference site near you or preregister to watch the 90-minute program from your home computer and take part in an online chat afterwards. National Survivors of Suicide Day takes place every year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It includes a blend of emotional support and information about resources for healing. Survivors and mental health professionals discuss their experiences and address questions like: Why did this happen? How do I cope? Visit www.afsp.org/survivorday to: * Read about the 2009 panelists * Find a conference site near you * Preregister to watch the 2009 program from home on November 21st * Watch programs from previous years at any time We hope you'll share in this powerful day of support, information, and healing. Please forward this message to anyone you think might be interested. Questions? Please email survivingsuicideloss@afsp.org or call 1-888-333-AFSP (2377), ext 33."
