Do you have a dog that has passed away?

I have this dog when I am just 9 yrs old it was given by my father. I was very happy at that time that I have a pet already. It was my companion when i am playing that make me attach to it just like a good friend. One day actually my very sad day he was killed we just found out he gasping and lying outside our house. We think he was beaten by a thief where our place has lot. Maybe he sees it and bark him and the thief got pissed and killed it. I was very devastated that time to a have dog friend passed away. Since then I don't have a dog anymore. I makes me feel sad to remember that day.How do you remember your dog that has passed away?
