Do you like to look at the lyrics when you are listening to a song?

yes I do! especially if I like the song and artist. I want to have a copy of the song's lyrics or I usually download the whole song. I sometimes find a "karaoke like version" of the song online where you could listen or watch the video with a sub or caption. You could sing along with the song! Which I think is really cool.

The lyrics are the most important part of the songs. I would like to have the lyrics available when I am singing. Some songs are hard to sing makes you sound weired if you are not singing it right. I don't want to ruin people song because I do not have the voice already. Happy lotting.

yeah i like to look up the lyrics. I think that good lyrics can make a good song into an amazing song. Lyrics can change the way i like a song as well. im not so good on remember them though. Even if i have a good memory i dont remember them so it feel strange for me.

I don't. Because I'm not frantic about singing songs. In my opinion, I like to listen to them when I feel tired and exhausted, the rhythem and pitch will make me comfortable, how come it happens that I pay attention to the lyrics when I close my eyes and devote myself into it. You must be a girl, I have lots of female friends who like to sing songs, sometimes I think it's a naturall talent for girls. But I also have exceptions when I'm asked to join parties or invited to sing songs in KTV with my friends. Anyway, I have to prepare several easy ones to get by, of course the lyrics is the key point. After all, I don't want to be the subject of scorn.

Sometimes I hear a song on the radio or on a tv show that I really like so I look up the lyrics because I like to sing along too !!! And sometimes there are songs that when you hear them, you cannot understand what the singer is saying, so I look up the lyrics online so I can be sure of the words. :-)

Yes I do. In fact I've downloaded many lyrics of songs that I've forgotten or new ones that I wanted to learn. Some lyrics are difficult to follow just by listening to the song. cheers!

I tried singing by looking at the lyrics but its ok if the lyrics are on and we are singing along with the song been played. since I am not a good singer so I dont need lyrics.

I guess it depends there are times when I do and there are times when I don't. I think it is nice to know what the lyrics are that way you can sing it correctly but then there are times with me that I have been singing that song the wrong way for so long that I don't want to know what the real words are because I like how I sing it. I am pretty good at memorizing lyrics and singing then with the song whether I sing then wrong or not but I am not very good at singing the song and remembering the lyrics if I don't have the music playing in the background. I can usually sing the chorus or one line of the sing without the music playing but other than that I am doomed.

HI Chelseaalawn, I love to listen to songs and sometimes I will look at the lyrics while listening to the songs. But some songs I don't have the lyrics,so I will just listen to them. I don't listen to songs everyday,sometimes when I am bored or bad mood,then I will on radio and listen to radio. They are so many nice songs in radio and I like listen to Mandarin and English songs.

I always look at the lyrics the first few times I listen to a song. I like to analyze the lyrics of songs, so it's important for me to know the song lyrics. If a song is too easy to understand, if it's too simple, I usually don't like it. I like complicated songs that you have to think a lot about.

Yes I do. Like you, I have a lyrics of the song I want so I can memorize the song. The only difficult song for me to memorize is Korean songs.

No, I don't really care to have the lyrics. Although there are some songs I can't always figure out the lyrics so I guess at that time it would be great to have access to the lyrics. Now when I am learning to play a song on my guitar I usually need the lyrics and the chords. For me it's the music that reaches me first. The lyrics come secondary to the music it's self.
