Nightmares and weird dreams. Why?

For the past few months, I have been having the worst dreams and nightmares. I have always had very vivid and bazaar dreams since I was a little girl, but since I gave birth 3 months ago, I have had the worst sort of nightmares, some of which wake me terrified or sick to my stomach and sometimes crying inconsolably. Could there be a connection between me giving birth and the dreams? I know that I have experienced some anxiety about being a mom for the first time, yet could it manifest itself in this way? I would appreciate some feedback.

i have been dreaming since i was a child too. i think once you are a dreamer, always a dreamer, whether those are good dreams or nightmare. anyway, when i just finished giving birth to my second child, i was having bad dreams too. i think it has something to do with post partum. but it will just pass.

yeah your right! 100% agree with you! sometimes it's just postpartum ^^, but why having a postpartum? it means! still have problems if you will have that kind of sickness... a woman can only experience postpartum if! there is something bad happening with the couples or if the woman have some problems that is related to relationship or giving birth... focus and trace the roots of problems and solve that's all, good day.

Hi! I'm a counselor and i have some things to tell you. First! You are having some very bad dreams maybe because of some things that you have experienced or encountered from the past that keeps bothering you until now! whether you like it or not it is really possible for people to have a dream about their past because when people are sleeping it is the sub conscious mind that is working! have some questions for you for the first possible reason why you are having bad dreams... Are you still living in the past? Is it good to live in the past? What are you experiencing right now? so from your experiences at present, what do you think you should do right now? What do you think is the right thing to do? If you stop living in the past, what will you feel? do you think it will make you feel better?! answer those and you shall see, thy answers to your burden. Second! You fearing some things too much! And leads you sometimes to paranoia! STOP! LOOK! LISTEN! CONCENTRATE! FOCUS! INHALE! EXHALE! What do you think is the BEST thing to do? Conquer your fears? or Live with it? If you conquer your fears, it's like a battle won from the world war! if you live with it.. it's like living in hell and every time you realize your fears or every time it pops up to your mind it's like it's the end of the world and all you can do is wait for your end or just hide some safe place until the disaster finds you? Living with your fears that leads you to paranoia is a dangerous one! You are not crazy and insane! Not now! but soon you will be if you will not make a move! Paranoia leads to something that you cannot even imagine even! in your dreams! Paranoia can hurt you or your love ones! there are much worst but don't want to tell you those so you can still sleep! Which of the two question do you think is best to answer? and What do you think is the best decision? FOCUS! and Learn how to solve and find a way to your problem... It's all you! and The only one who can help you right now is your self so don't let your self down! Be courageous! Think of good things! Imagine the greatness of life and the good things that will happen if you can solve your problem and decide/choose right! So many options but only one fits in! you can only see the good results if you can feel that you can already breath freely and live happily! and no worries at all! free your self! life is good only if you know how to live with it! and only if you know how to enjoy it! hope my words can help you.. you are free to email me! and you can also refer me hahaha! ^^, here is my email... for now my service to you is free of charge! I dont typically have many nightmares but lately I've had at least three nightmares and thats a lot for me, and I think maybe its coz I've been braking my no junk food before bed rule because I haven't had a nightmare in a long time.
