buddhism

I have lived in Thailand for a number of years and learn a little about Buddhism. The 5 noble paths and other teachings of the monks. The older educated Buddhists I talked to, they look at Buddhism not as a religion like what other people think but more of philosophy of life, a way of life if you like. I also read a lot of books on Buddhism from western authors particularly Christmas Humphreys who is practicing Buddhism. You are right there, Buddhism as a religion like what you said is here to stay. cheers!
