Keeping mule as a pet

I have this desire to keep a mule as pet. What are the plus and minus points of this idea?

I think that it would be similar to horse care. Clean grounds, shelter from sun and rain and cold. Brushing, cleaning and replacing shoes. Feeding healthy oats and hay. Read a book and talk to some other owners, before doing this. It's a 24/7 day pet. Good luck.

Thanks for warning me. I dont think that I will have the kind of time that is needed to care for this lovely animal.
