Trying to put a movie in Itunes!

Hi!
I am trying to put one of my favorite movies in my Iphone! But I can't seem to import it through Itunes! Any ideas? Do I need to Convert it? Or??????? Please help!

You have to convert whatever video file into .mp4, which is the format supported by the Apple iPod. You can use a software called "Handbrake" to convert your files to .mp4. You can find more information on how to make it work at Handbrake's official website.
