Have you thought about the idea of putting up garage or yard sales?

I like going to garage sales and maybe I might do it myself one day. I have collected a lot of things of value over the years but hardly use them. Perhaps I can turn them into cash rather than just collecting dust.
Have you been to a garage sale or perhaps have done it yourself?
What do you think of the idea?

I too like garage sales. And I have always thought of making my own garage sales but I don't actually have accumulated a lot of things to be up for sale.
But I'm going for a garage sale with my pocketbooks I have accumulated through the years. I'm just timing it when school opening starts this second semester so the students can buy from books at a lower lower cost.
And why is my garage sale delayed? because I'm still reading again the books before selling them LOL. And after reading the book I wrap it in recycled plastic. I'm almost done.

I have been to many garage sales, it is a fun way to spend a day seeing what kind of treasures you can find.
I have also had a few myself. It is a lot of hard work getting one set up, and it is not fun having to pack up the things that you did not sell
