How do you deal with a long distance relationship?

Well it's not that long of a distance. My boyfriend lives in NYC and I live in New Jersey. Im a college student with a job and I get really busy. He always complains about not seeing me enough. Sometimes I dont know how to respond or what to do. Any experience or advice would help alot. Thanks!
