Hello lotters, I am again, going to sleep late because i don't know, got caught up discussing topics again. got few more discussions to take and it was good, some are fun..others can be intriguing, i mean very very intriguing. it makes me say that, one, there are more than meets the eyes, and two they are not who you think they are... This is one reason why we can't trust other people or even reveal our real photo's online because you never know if some one is what they claimed to be. again, for the second time,it hit me but not that hard.i have put photos in private in my other social sites.. And am not gonna point fingers either because am tired of talking about other people. since either they would hit me or just ignore me. what am trying to say is that, you may have known me or seen my real name but you'll never see my photo. i will remain anonymous for as long as i can. too bad, again i trust the oldies more and some are in my face book.

Letran- I believe if you can't show who you really are online, or be yourself on then you are just playing games. That's just what I believe harsh as it sounds. I've always shared my real pictures, never had more then one account per site, and never tried to remain "cloaked". It's not right in my book. I'm sure if you are on FB, you've seen me there and I'm not hard to find. Namaste- Anora

Which reminds me of morachat where I foolishly got myself banned. I can get back in there with a fake ID and an IP anonymizer, but it's no fun if I can't be myself!

Hello Letran, I understand your sentiments on this matter dear brother. Sometimes it is even harder to accept that, people whom you trust are the ones who betrayed you.(more online) I can't even say who are real and who are pretenders in here(mylotters). Thu,i make friends and feel some of you are my friends(i count you as one real friend here online)i can say, someone whom i feel the feeling of being comfortable talking with. Yet,i don't know who were pretenders. In my views...it is not my sin anymore if they keep pretending,as long as i am honest. And,...it is easier to tell the truth than telling lies. If they can't be honest with themselves...we should never expect any honesty from them.(let them be) Cheers

it's not that am upset, it's just that one of my friends here that got screwed and lost even his account because a lot of other users took his post personally. i was surprised that he even accused me of such and then deleted me from his list.after that i never went to his turf until he got deleted. that's why am not too much active into political discussions.i stop trusting after what happened to him. he was one of the first users who added me last year when i was still a newbie.

Possibly I'm being naive, but I have no problem posting my own photos. Everybody has to make the decision for themselves though. Sorry you had a bad experience.

Pretenders are people who feels good hiding behind a facade. They do it for reasons they are the only one who knows. It's easy to pretend and carry on with that facade for how long...anyways...it's our freedom...we all have the right to be what we are.

i agree with you there lyza, i guess it won't be bad if they don't want to be expose but the worst part there is that most can be a devil on their own stride that they want to destroy the very existence of other users.i have seen them done this and that. i guess it's one good thing being anonymous, but not pretending.

We never know who the people are that we are talking to online, that is why I make sure not to say to much to people. Until we meet some one face to face we don't know who they are. For all that we know there could even be people in here that are from prison. Even people in prisons get access to computers daily, so we have to watch our selves carefully. Never give out a lot of info. One way to keep our selves safe is by not showing our photos. I do have my photo up of my wedding pic, but I have to say that I am not to worried where my husband is a cop.

hello lacey! wow! a COP! no wonder he has that username. you don't mind if i put him in my mylot movie, if it's alright. well, that's cool since he's a cop. i have a suspicion of some one who's really pretending on who they seem to be but since the user is harmless, i just let him do the thingy. sorry for the late comment there.
