Ready for you to just Cash and Carry

Hi, all! When you go to a supermarket, do you like to buy those ready-packed fruits, vegetables etc. or would you rather select them at the counter yourselves? Do you bake your own cookies or cakes or prefer to get those ready-baked in the shops?? If you want to find some clothes, would you send the material to the tailor or you always look for the ready-made one?? Do you always buy or get the things that are always 'ready' for you to just cash and carry? Why and why not?? Please share! Thanks in advance!!

hi corry^^;; everyone i guess is busy to look around and spend more time choosing the stuffs they need. but when it comes to perishable food like fruits and veggies, meat, seafood, i want to choose by myself as much as possible so i can really check if they are still fresh or not. as for the baked goodies, i would just buy it in bakeries because there i cannot bake all that i see and i might just ruin and waste it lol though i sometimes bake chocolate chips cookies (which i'm good at hehe) once a month or 2months and store it in cookie jars for clothes, i like those that are ready-to-wear because it's more difficult to find a fine material and cloth. and there are many designs that i can choose with on shops and it's cheaper than sewed by a tailor.

Hi, Lucky! Most of the times, I do see that there are more people who enjoy choosing those perishable food, but some will just take anything at hand. Most probably that is their life style, everything has to be fast! Hmmm... You do bake choc chips cookies?? Yummy!! I know someone who will buy all those ready made dresses and later on send them to the tailor to do some alteration, must be as high as above the knees and everything must be fit!! In my mind, why couldn't she just buy some fine material, design the style she wants and send them to the tailor.

I think when it comes to food, it's just so hard for me to avoid! Especially the frozen food like chicken nuggets etc... It's not every day though, but that's why I need to shed those extra pounds!! I seldom wear dresses as well... as I am also comfortable in jeans, but hey, long dress is also very pretty and elegant, you know! He he...

yeah, i know some people who would just buy pre-cooked/frozen food that just need reheating but i think it's unhealthy. i'm not so much a health conscious haha but i'm trying to avoid. i even rarely buy hotdogs or sausages and the like. oh when it comes to dresses, think it's really better to have it done by a tailor so that the measurements will surely fit since everyone has a unique physique. i don't wear a dress, always jeans or pants so if i do some alteration then it's just the length because i'm not tall

I always prefer to choose ready made pay for it and walk out! I don’t usually have the time to make things from scratch and I don’t know how to sew. I do like choosing my own fruit and vegetables though because the prepacked ones are not always of the best quality. I don’t bake cakes, sometimes my little girl and I will bake cookies during the school holidays for fun but that’s about it!

Hi, Paula! So, you prefer everything to be ready, well, except when selecting fresh fruits and vegetables. I also prefer to select the fruits and vegetables on my own, too, because sometimes I noticed that not all of them are fresh and some have gone bad, but the staffs just mix them with the new and fresh ones. How about food that is ready cooked? Do you like to take away food or you always cook at home?? I am not a good cook, but I think I'm going to love baking more even though I never baked at home he he... The oven is not working and we are thinking of getting a new one, when, I don't know... It depends on the budget.

I don't like to cook but I do it for survival!(LOL) I am guilty of buying take away food sometimes and of having TV dinners. We are not too bad we eat home cooked food most of the time! A broken oven...oh that's not good...I would be lost without my oven...Hate cleaning it though! My husband got a Weber for Christmas last year so now he does all the roasts and my oven stays clean, wonderful!

Hahaa... 'Nice' hubby, leaving you with the cleaning part!! I guess I am like you too, we cook but we do buy take away food as well. At least, not everyday! Most of the time, my mom will cook because she's good in cooking, but I do cook for my hubby especially when he comes home late. Well, I really hope I can get an oven before Christmas...
