Most moving song

I listen to a lot of music and sometimes there are certain songs that remind me of events or people in my life and can make me quite emotional. My father was Irish and moved to the UK as a young man. He married my mum and had a family and only managed to go back home once or twice. Whenever he heard the song Danny Boy he would get tears in his eyes and it would make him homesick. He passed away a number of years ago and now whenever I hear that song it makes me tearful too. Do you have a song that always gives you a strong emotional reaction? Reminds you of a happy occasion, or a loved on?

Yes carmelbg. i too remember certain incidents, for certain songs. When we were a happy family with all my sisters, dad,uncle and his family, simply we enjoy teasing and making fun with each other, laughing with some comedy songs. When ever that song comes, I remember those days. My 1 year niece was a very beautiful, bubbly, baby whom every one will pet when ever we take her out always dances with her small body moving here and there, for a particular english music, and suddenly she passed away with a viral fever, that too minutes before enjoying that music. When ever we hear that music, we simply get tears and the incidents that occured on that fateful day. A good topic indeed

To me most of the songs I listen to are moving to me(with the exception of ICP) because see I listen to the lyrics also to see if i like the song and not just the beat.

Hello Carmelbg,there are 2 songs that really makes me emotional everytime I hear the songs.First is the duet of Tim Mcgraw and Faith hill,the title is 'Its your love".When I listen to this song I feel like im falling inlove all over and over and over again with my husband.And the other is "God of this city".It speaks of the greatness of our God.When I first heard this song I really cried a lot.You better check it out.If you are troubled and in deep desperation, just listen to this song
and you will be reminded that God is more greater than any storms in our life.
