Have you ever swam in ice cold water?

I have not swam in ice cold water. I refuse to do such a thing. I hate the cold water. I would rather swim in a heated pool or warm water of some sort. It can be dangerous swimming in ice cold waters. This can cause hypothermea. Hypothermea can lead to death of an individual. If someone paid me a million dollars to jump into ice cold water I would not do it. I would not risk my life to do a stupid stunt like that. I like my warm and hot water and that's all there is to it.

it is impossible for me to swim in and ice cold water, it is dangerous as same as you said.we would like to swim in summer, but the water is not as cold as ice, if that, no one will be jump into it,health is very important for us to choose how to doing sports. good luck and have a nice day!

I live on the gulf of mexico and i did go in the water a few times in march or may but no way not any longer it has to be at least 80+ and the heater has to be on in the pool, i think it has something to do with getting older the thinner my blood gets, it got down to the 50's here last weekend because of a cold front that came thru and the winter coats were out, and the socks were on.

I too have never swam in an ice cold water. I think that is dangerous. In our place there is this waterfall where the water is cold, but its not as cold as ice. I love to dip in it from time to time and I usually go there during summer to refresh. But I have never bath or swim in an ice cold w
