Do you spoil your children

I heard of people spoiling there children and I do not agree with it. What do you think?

Our daughter is a bit spoiled because she's our only child. And, I don't see anything overly wrong with that. I think the problem comes when parents let their kids get their way so much they no longer have any authority over them.

When you have only one I think its harder than when you have more than one. I never intended to spoil my son but you want them to have everything you didnt. Of course he knows the word no and hears it often but we try to give him limitations especially when he has a sibling on the way. Spoiling to the point of getting everything especially when they are older and can do things for themselves (getting a new car every year after they turn 16 NOOOOOOO). Its a little different when they are younger.
