Hey don't jump to xtremes............ If it was a thermometer from the past 20 years don't worry, because they stopped using mercury many years ago. I don't know what they use now, but as I understand it, it is supposed to be less harmful to pets and humans. Hope your pups are ok though. Good luck.

i just read an article on the swine flu vaccine, and that it has mercury in it. they are saying that it can have side effects on humans and even kill them. so who know what it can do to a poor little animal. it could kill them.

..when i comes to dog, i'm in...if it's still puppies, the chances of there survival is slim, i guess, what i know is mercury is poisonous to human or animal coz mercury is a neurotoxin w/c means that it destroys nervous tissue and/or effects the nervous system and brain, the victim can be feel numbness, weakness or paralysis of the affected part of the body in human or animal..remedies? i don't have idea, lets say what others may share...i feel sorry for your cute puppies, i hope they can survive..

Mercury can kill your pups, I would call the vet to see if there was anything that you can do. But if they digested the mercury I am not sure that there is anything you can do. Even a small amount is dangerous to anyone! I hope that they didn't get any of it in their system.

im sure your puppies possible at the moment felt fine but it needs to be set to the vet for observation.jus to be sure there ok and no other issue is involve they can handlke the situation befor something seem to happen but .dont be alram have them drink some water and see what they say . im sure that there ok from here on end but if any situation like that happens always think first to sending to a vet.
