The oscars and golden globes for the flms of 2009 will be here in a couple of months...do you have any movies or actors you'd like to see nominated? I really, really, realyyyyy think the guy that played the "nazi hunter" in Inglorious Bast-rds deserves some award; he was amazing! I think Where The Wild Things are and Up deserve to be nominated for somethings, too.

I think there are some buzz about the Nazi Hunter being nominated for an Oscar. I definitely agree with that when I saw his terrific performance. Other movie created the buzz so far is The Hurt Locker, Precious, Up!, and Up In The Air (and probably Inglourious Basterds). Haven't seen all of them except Basterds, looking forward to it at the cinema. I think as end of year getting closer, we'll see what movies can received rave praise from critics. I think Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones may snag some awards. Many people said that it's not the right time to expand Best Pic noms to 10 noms instead of 5 since so far there are only few movies are Oscar worthy.

I definitely agree that Where the Wild Things Are should be nominated for something. It was so sad but very beautifully done. I guess the way it's structured James Gandolfini would be considered a supporting actor but he definitely did a terrific job. And Max Records was pretty terrific too. And as much as I hate to admit it because Karen O drives me batty, I think the music was pretty amazing too. I really haven't seen anything else that would be considered for an Oscar or Golden Globe. Harry Potter was amazing and made me cry like a baby. Julie and Julia might be, and it was good but I don't know if it will win anything.
