How do you choose a topic when you sit to write? I generally see for the latest search trends or something that is happening hot. Tell me your ways of choosing a topic.

I just let my mind wander. Sometimes an article in the newspaper, things I see in the surroundings, things that we talk about in the house. There are times when I respond to discussions something will spark into a nice topic. There is no particular approach really, it is a combination of things that spark into ideas. enjoy

Mylot topics, newspaper articles are two places..but also things I see when I'm out and about or things my hubby and I or the kids and I talk about..another good place I find ideas is scenes or quotes from movies (usually dramas) that make me think...

I would normally write what I know about and my interests. This way I would not have to do so much research and I can write the articles off the top of my head.

I like to write about taboo subjects that mostly revolve aound politics or religion. To me they make the best stories and can have many different outcomes =)
