Is it right for a young one to get involve in a relationship?

At your age you will fall in love so easily, but 99% of the time that love won't last. But your studies will, they will last you a life time and are so important. Life is tough especially in todays climate and you need to study and do well in School/college/university to stand any chance getting a worthwhile job that you can enjoy and earn well in. Pursueing a relationship will distract you from your studies, a relationship at your age is unlikely to last that long so in the long term you would have wasted your studies for not very much. Once you have done your exams there will be plenty of people out there to start a relationship with. I think this is the main reason your Grandmother is telling you not to. And I would respect that, there is nothing stoppping you going out with your friends and having fun.
