So why are they having so many reruns so early in the season? For example NCIS, NCIS: LA and The Good Wife are all reruns tonight(Tuesday). Monday it was How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory and I think there are many more later in the week.

Maybe, but they could still show something new and less big. Every year there are fewer and fewer episodes in a season.

I agree, but don't ya know they don't always think that way - remember the good old days when new epis showed from Sept to Feb or March and then it was reruns...

I know! It's CBS. It seems that NBC and ABC are still airing fresh episodes. I don't know about Fox, but I think their shows are still airing new episodes too. Well, not to fear. November sweeps start next week, which means you'll be getting a new episode every week. Or so it usually goes during November sweeps.
