Blogging-Why?

Why do people feel the need to blog about everything? I don't quite understand the reason you'd want to tell others about your life over the internet.

I must admit I am one of those. My blogs are mostly about my emotions. I don't know why I chose to publish it overt the internet. I guess it is one way to impart the lessons I learned in my life to other people. Aside form that I find it relieving to do that.
