This lady had 78 forks/spoons removed from her body~ WHAT???

A woman obsessed with eating cutlery had to go under the knife to remove 78 forks and spoons from her stomach.
Doctors said every time Margaret Daalman, of Rotterdam, Holland, would sit down for a meal, she would ignore the food and "eat" the silverware instead.
The 52-year-old eventually went to hospital complaining of a stomachache and was rushed into surgery after an X-ray revealed the dozens of forks and spoons clanking inside her.
"I felt an urge to eat the silverware. I could not help myself," Daalman told doctors.
Rotterdam was eventually diagnosed with a "borderline personality disorder." She has since made a full recovery and is responding well to therapy
Holy crap lady...tell me this wouldn't hurt something bad

I can’t image how you would manage to eat a piece of cutlery, I mean how would you get it down without choking? If I push a spoon down my throat the first I will do is throw up! It is quite astounding and I would love to know how she did it! It’s a relief to hear that she is under psychiatric care...

I know what you are saying...I even gag on my own toothbrush sometimes if I accidently go to far back on my tongue so I could not even begin to fathom shoving silverware down my throat on purpose. I think it is all agreed that she needs to be under psychiatric care.....thanks for your response.

How gross is that. There are so many disorders in this world I just can't believe it. How could anyone want to eat the utensils and how didn't she hurt her insides. Its really amazing and crazy all at the same time.

I so agree lelin..that is what I thought when I read the article and then saw her x-ray I guess she is very lucky she didn't cut up her insides something terrible. People do some weird things....Thanks for your response.
