how to set a good sleep pattern?

i have a bad sleep pattern. suggest me, how to set a good sleep pattern?

Hey, tephoz, frankly speaking, I always think it's useless. It's reported lying on right side is more health than on left side, becoz usually our heart and stomach are on left side, lying on left side makes both heart and stomach pressed. And others say lying on the back is good. But what I can do is just control my sleep pattern when I'm awake. When I'm asleep, I can do nothing on it in fact. Once I tried to lying on right side, but my mother always said, "No matter you fall sleep with which pattern, you always lay on the back in the morning." I don't know why. So I just do nothing on it now.
