Is a woman a better boss?

I have been in education for almost twenty years now and im lucky enough to have served several bosses from the different positions i have acquired in the University. But just some few observations, it seems i am more comfortable and more productive when i am with a lady boss than with a male boss. I surmised that maybe some of the reasons that i can attribute to this fact is that being a woman myself i can closely relate to a female boss's needs and wants and can also read her between the lines. A woman is more predictable than a man and so working with her is also a comfortable experience. On the other hand, a male boss seems more staid, firm and many times too complicated to read. They can also be too demanding and authoritative. What do you think is a woman really a better boss?

In all the years I worked, I am retired, I can say that I never had a bad boss. Lucky I think. But I do have to tell you that the very best was a woman. I felt much more like what I did was appreciated and it made me work even harder. Yes, in my experience, I completely agree with you.

why not ? we believe and fight for gander equality. men and women, all the things are equal. so if a men can be a boss why not women can boss ? i think boss is little thing, we know many women, they was world leader and many of them acting as country minister, first lady. even some are prime minster. they are good enough contributor so for society.
