Question on economy is one of the problem that our government is facing today. the person seated was said to be an economist and according to the government the philippine economy is stable, but for the poor people, life in the philippines is getting higher and expensive. What really is a stable economy?

Well im not really into economics, it's not that i don't care about our economy but i don't have exactly know where we stand in our economy now. I rarely see or hear the news (local or international) so i really don't know where we stand right now. Economy, as what i remember from my college days, it has something to do with how we use our resources, equal distribution, exchange and consumption of goods. It may also pertain to the study of money, labor, income, taxes and government expenditures. So basically if all these things are balance nothing is too high or too low then we can say that our economy is stabilized. I don't know if what im saying here is right but that's my opinion only. You may correct me or even teach me if what i said is wrong. I'm here to learn anyway :D

I think you are good in economics, recently I was in Singapore and I think they have a good economy, I dont see poor people anywhere, even old people are working in the street, the status of people are almost the same, unlike in us, it forms like a triangle where the biggest block in the lower portion are composed of poor people. Its like the government distributes its resources to its people. One example was housing, every family must have a decent house to live, unlike our case many vacant spacious lots are own by the rich and they are useless, housing in singapore are spacious too, our tenements are mostly studio type where in families are cramp all together in one space and the poor can only afford are the esteros. Well I dont know much about what Iam talking about just my opinion. All we want is a fair and a happy living.

My question is, "What are the programs that you'll implement to improve the philippines ranking in the world economy?" Cheers!

Your question is very good but it will be very hard for the presidentables. Everybody wants progress yes, however, looking at the philippines compared to developed countries , we appear to be hundred years late from economy , development, progress, inventions, infrastructure and even discipline or as simple as cleanliness we dont implement. So the winning president has a lot to do like superman to achieve all this. Surely, they will have programs prepared how to implement them will be the next thing.
