My computer has an internet connection with a speed of 256kb per sec and my download speed is near to 30.. can anyone tell me how to increase the speed of the computer? Is any software to increase the speed?

If you mean increasing your internet speed, then I have bad news. You simply can't do that unless you upgrade it with your internet service provider.

As for your computer speed. There are programs that claim to speed up your computer but I don't believe much about it.

I have one software which is increasing your browsing speed but it will not increase your download speed just download this from half-open site and set the value as 100 and restart your system.

hello vijay i think you want to increase the speed of internet. and i in my view very frankly it is not very possible by the time your ISP wants. there are many software available who claims to increase this but i donot have a good experience with them. as you have 256kbps connection. and downloading speed is 30 that is correct. as speed of 256 kbps means kilo bits per seccond and the 30 is 30 kilobytes. which just a way of seeing only when you divide 256 by 8 (since 1 byte = 8 bit) you will get 32 killo byte and that is correct and as your connection. you can upgrade your plan to increse the speed.
