a benefit to having a credit card is tht one can have it on hand in case an emergency arises.another benefit to having a credit card is that it can help build ones credit score. an obvious downside of having a credit card is that one put himself at risk for identity theft.when one buy online or from a store, one is putting his faith in the security measures of the company and the individual employees.all one can do is just hope that his information will not land in the wrong hands. at the end i would like to ask you guyz are credit cards safe???????

Yes, credit cards are safe as long as you use it on the correct way and only do transactions on trusted sites. It's very important also to keep track all transaction you've made always so you can file a complain in case you find some malicious charges on your billing statement :) br, jamzy
