Are you a student? Using laptop in your college? Then your the right persion am looking for. First of all thanks and I want to continue with my queries. Where does laptop exactly are usefull during your class? I am not at all clear, which application do you use for making notes? and for mathematics?? and for drawings??? Dont panic why am asking all these, i had a dream of developing an application particularly for students to use in class room. Its a sigle window which does everthing( means all subject ). This gives facility to make a notes with text, images, drawings, calculations, graphs, maps and video/audio clips all in single page. With your replies, adds up more feature. Finally one last question. Can such a application is possible to develop???

I mainly use my laptop for writing research papers and for browsing the web. At times, I use applications such as Corel Painter 11 and Adobe Photoshop CS4 when making some digital arts during my leisure time. As for the activities concerning academics, Windows Journal does the job for me. And, yes, I believe that such an application can be produced just as long as one have the necessary aptitude and resources to do so.

Wow, this is interesting!!! Pls inform me of any developments!!! In college, we used laptops to take down notes. We also had a lot of class presentations so programs likePowerpoint is really useful. I think a voice or video recorder will be very useful because sometimes the lecture gets too fast. We also use the laptop to lookup for vocabulary words so I guess an easy link to a dictionary would be very nice. My course was also design-related so applications like Photoshop and Corel were very important. A calendar would be very nice to include as well. Basically, everything from the clock, calculator, etc would be nice to have handy in one application. Good luck!!!!
