Almost everyday i prepared having food at home. i don't really prefer having food outside coz i felt that its not very healthy unless it is from good restraunt or hotels. Being a woman i have to cook food every morning and evening since i don't keep maid at my home. I love preparing tasty and healthy food however, preparing everyday is also making me very boring sometime. Would love to know......

Hi asfiona, I also prepare foods everyday morning and evening. Really my husband and kids will say it is very tasty. Even my sister and parents also says your cooking is very good. But i'll eat less only when i prepare food myself. It'll be more tasty in eating foods and receipes what my mother prepares.

Hi Priya, Its true for me as well that when i prepared the food it seems not very tasty but for others it is tasty. May be its our conscience of thinking in that way or may be it is becoz while preparing the food we know what we are preparing and also inhale all the smell. it could be posible that smell spoil our apitite or something like that...he...he Anyway take care enjoy cooking coz good prepared food makes us healthy.

Hi and welcome! When I have those "boring" spells, I just prepare exquisite sandwichs. Doing that is like playing dolls: it takes the routine out of the job and it is as healthy as "real" food. I only go to good restaurants when I go out. I am invited by friends who pay me that way my inviting them for diner as I am a good cook and I love to do it. I never think if it´s healthy or not because I know that home prepared food is alwauys healthy. I cook from scratch and even save broths ans odds and ends. In my home there´s no leftovers because those are made into something else the next day. Part of what keeps routine away is to try diferent foods. I´m cooking a lot with fruits lately because I´m trying to use less salt. Yams, quinces, prunes, apples and oranges are good aditions to homemade food and the boredom goes away. Cook as if you were playing! Take care!

Hi asfiona! This sounds interesting and you have a very valid point to make. I also feel that those who continuously work in the kitchen starting feeling boring about cooking. My better half also complains - "What is this, I am working 7 days a week in the kitchen, preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner and thinking about next day's dishes". I can understand her plight and I sympathize with her. As you have right said that if one gets food from outside that is not hygienic either, therefore, it would be better to take home cooked food, even at the cost of feeling bored.......LOL!

Sometimes I get so tired of cooking at home I dont like to eat out much but when I do I like to go to Chillis or some place like that. The chilis here is so nice and clean and a great atmosphere and the prices are not bad either.

Feel for you, us single guys have the same issues......ha Some things I do, I buy cook books that are on the sale rack, just for inspiration. I will also make a large pot of thick hearty vegetable stew and freeze in portion packs. Then when i do not have time to cook or just do not want to, I have a good meal quick and easy. Sometime I cook extra just to give to freinds.

I prepared food many times for my family. But I don't get bored because I prepared food with a great love.I think, if you prepare food because of obligation, you get bored.
