For quite some time I've thought about article writing, but haven't made a go of it. I'm finding there is money to be made in this industry and am now wanting to move forward with this, but I need help. I have questions and I am looking for answers from the experienced. I've been looking at different company websites, reading their guidelines and terms and conditions. I'm finding many companies have a clause in their TOC stating your article can not have been previously publicly published, in whole or in part, on the internet or any other media. Are there any company's that don't have this clause? Or if I write and send in an article to a company with this clause, if my article is approved can I turn around and submit to another company that doesn't have this clause? Is there anything else I should be concerned about in article writing that I need to learn before starting to write, or do I just take the plunge and see what happens? What about styles? Is there certain styles for article writing? What company's are the best to write for when starting out? Which company's pay the best. Where's a good place for me to start? I think I'm confused...lol. All suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks my friends for all your help! BizzyB says Happy MyLotting!

Hello Bizzy. Welcome to MyLot :) The article writing sites I like the best are Associated Content, Triond, and Textbroker. They pay well over time according to how many views your articles get. Associated Content also offers upfront plus performance payments geared to your interests and areas of expertise. They offer the option that you can post previously written articles, as long as they are completely your own work. And then they also have exclusive rights, meaning you cannot have posted your article anywhere else, nor will you. Each site has its own unique rules and guidelines, so read them carefully. Never submit plagerized material, or you could be banned for life. Good luck with this. Karen

Thanks for your response Karen! So, what your are saying I was reading properly, I can post articles I wrote previously, as long I have not posted these particular articles anywhere else and cannot post them anywhere else....in other words once I write an article, if I decide to post it in Helium or Triond or Textbroker, that's it, I cannot post it in Associated Content. If I decide to first post it in Associated Content, that's it, I cannot go anywhere else with that same article. And I know about the plagerism, all articles will be my own articles. BizzyB
