I want to buy one but i dont know which hoster to choose. I will probably register my domain with GoDaddy but i don't know what hoster i should choose. There are a lot of them. Can you suggest me something that you like AND didn't have any bad experiences with. Please don't post anything that contains the word "sucks" or "crap" or "bad" because that will not help me. Please help me by saying which one is GOOD and which one YOU like! So i can make like a statistics thingy. Thank You :D

Yes, I own a website on webs.com. You can buy your own domain for around 20 dollars a year. It is a pretty good site and I have used it for most of the sites that I have. Another great place to start a website is weebly.com, but I do not know much about it. I've had ok experiences with it; you can design your layout which is one thing better than webs.

I had a domain from godaddy and hosted my website on godaddy. I didn't like it, yeah prices are cheap, but for some reason their site loads very loong time for me. And they want to give you some sh*t that you don't need. Also they charged me money automatically from my credit card, even when I had auto-renewals turned off, they refunded everything. Now I don't have a domain and no website, because I couldn't earn anything from my website, so I had to close my account on godaddy. The end of my sad sad story! :(

Goddady is a great domain registration site but their hosting is not so good.I suggest go to either hostgator which it is the best hosting or namecheap. I use both of them before, and their service is really good

I started out my website on a "free website" service and moved my way up from there as my business got bigger. Just be weary of any small print. You can get your money taken from you in a blink of an eye just because you did not see something. Good luck. I have had good luck with Godaddy and my husband has had bad.

I do not have any knowledge in making websites but I have a website that I have paid for and have ask my friend to do the maintenance. The website host is siteground. I think its good since a friend of mine has recommended the site. Considering his background on web designing, then I made a go for it. Though I also have a website hosted for free from weebly.

No but I would love to own a website as I would love to learn how to make graphics and web layouts sale them... etc.. anyone that could help with that I'd be greatly appreciated. I know a little HTML. But sorry I can't help you with web hosts. I'd start off free then go to a bigger one once you get more traffic.

i have 3 "sites" 2 subdomain (www.h.h.com) and 1 blog. If I register and own a domain search engines see that i care about the quality AND the content of the site because i am paying for it. So they will make my site available in SEngines. It is good to own a website because YOU control everything. I have been with webs for a few months and i can only add pages and apps. I cant change the appearance or anything. People seem to visit .com domains more than subdomains... but thank you for your reply!

Godaddy is a good place to buy a domain. I don't own one myself but I'm considering. I only have a blog on blogspot but that's very old already. In case I do get a domain, I intend to get one through Godaddy because they're reliable.
