So i am happy to announce that yesterday i quit smoking. I am already finding this hard last night i woke up with myself searching my room to try and find a smoke. I have been having some pretty bad cravings, but i am pushing through. I used to smoke about a half pack a day. I figure that if i dont try to quit now then i never will. So if anyone has any idea to help me through this and any-other people that are quitting please share.

That is so wonderful that you stopped smoking, it is just so much better for your body and I applaud you so much on your self control. One thing that you can think about when you have a future craving is not just how it is so much better for your body, but how much better it is for everyone else, no second hand smoke, and so you are doing your whole environment a big favor

It does good to you and people around you! Congratulations on you becuase you have made half success when you decide to give it up and the rest will be tough you should be prepared for the coming lure of smoking especailly when others smoke and offer it to you. Maybe when you find it difficult to resist the tempt to have a smoking, just try someting alternative, for example some candy or anyting else that can be put into your pocket and eaten. Wish you successful soon!

you can quit smoking slowly, not just a sudden stop. when you really can't control yourself anymore, just light a smoke but dont put it in mouth. just smell the smoke coming off and dont breath throught it directly. this well calm yourself down, but it's not really smoking. do this for a few days and then stop.
