Psychic Mind Reading Computer?

Well, the idea of a telepathy machine might sound like something from science fiction, may no longer be a fiction anymore. A mind-reading machine that can produce pictures of what a person is seeing or remembering has been developed by scientists in the US. The device studies patterns of brainwave activity and turns them into a moving image on a computer screen. I am just thrilled that telepathy can now be made available onto our very own computers in the near future. Even more with how it will enhance crime solving and perhaps help people who are stricken with memory loss illnesses. Speaking of technology breakthrough, this is really impressive. hi skysuccess well even i have heard something like that, they are trying to make something that converts our nerves system signals and trying to interpret it, well it would certainly be very interesting to see that happen soon, they are currently doing research work for and i suppose it will be there in the near future, it is wonderful even to think about it, i don't exactly know how people would react to that because such things are sometimes dangerous and i think something like that should not be made public soon after it has been launched, but yeah it has lot many positive aspects too.. it could be used to treat memory losses and perhaps see things we remember on the computer screen and share our moments with our close ones showing them lot many things... it certainly would be so wonderful.

hello voldrox, i wish they can convert that into our brain so that we can have teh ability to read someone elses so that we can determine on who can we really trust and prevent risk of being betrayed by some one that we didn't think fooling us.

voldrox, I do agree that this invention can be a double edged sword but I just would like to see this in a positive perspective, especially in medical sciences and consumer research and development. Imagine what it would be like for dementia patients who are trying to even recall their own personal address. Also, in the area of R&D, I am sure the information gathered with this mode to be more representative to the consumer market. I really hope that this will be put into good use especially for the better of mankind. Happy myLotting.

hello sky, wow that is really cool. but if the computer is an artificial intelligence, it could cause trouble to the users. i wish i can have the computers brain so that i can be aware on what other people thinks of me. well, crime solving is another benefit but what if the computer becomes corrupt when reading to many minds of every criminal that they ever probed into. as for me, i like the idea, most specially if it puts in my brain.. i could probably solve crime myself with out them knowing it.

LetranKnight25, I am sure it will definitely beat the lie detector hollow here, once this invention is fully developed and tested. I am more for it to be implemented in the field of medical and medicinal sciences. So, let's hope that this invention will be a success. Have a nice day.

hi letran ... well it could be used for that purpose but um don't you think the other person might feel a little uncomfortable about it, i mean we are seeing into his personal thoughts, if someone would do that with me i too will feel a little uncomfortable, but yeah if without the knowledge of the other person then it could be a little different thing, but still i guess it would not be a nice idea coz we might stray into some of their personal thoughts that he/she might never have wanted anyone to know ... i guess trust comes best naturally ... even if we use it on someone other and by chance he/she comes to know about it then it would make them feel bad because we doubted them:( . . . well yeah but it could certainly be used on criminals as a lie detector . . .

That's really a big technoloty breakthrough. I hope someday a mind-controlled machine can be developed so we can do a lot of funny thing. Play computer games with mind-controlled machine should be extremely interesting. That would be a totally impressive experience. And we are able to experience a lot of exciting lifes transcend imagination.

GaryJoule, Hmm....mind control Wii huh? Definitely cool! I think we will just have to wait and see how things will play out here. Also, if it is applied into flight control. Happy myLotting.
