Have you been to the Philippines? I'm a Filipina but there are places in the Philippines that I haven't been to but wanted so much to visit. I haven't been to anywhere in Visayas Island. I am planning to go somewhere that is really nice but not too crowded next year. Any good suggestions?

It's a dream of mine to go find time some day and go around the country side and see what's each place has to offer. Sadly, that dream has yet to come true due to availability issues and of course for financial reasons. but i'm not giving up on it yet. So far I can only visit a new place once a year during vacations and mostly in Luzon area. I would like to visit the Visayas and Mindanao area in the future if time permits and of course if funds are available. Cheers!

Same here. I don't always have time to travel because of work but I also can't stop working or else I won't have money to travel LOL. But yeah hold on to those dreams as its still possible no matter how old we get. Where in Luzon have you been to?

Well the farthest I've been to the northern part is Bataan and the farthest in the southern part is in Bicol particularly Sorsogon where you can see the sign "You are now living the island of Luzon" you can actually see the island of Samar in the horizon.

I haven't been to Sorsogon and this is the first time I heard of that sign! wow! I want to see that!! :)

I haven't yet been to the Philippines but I would really love to do so. I would fly into Cebu and then catch a boat to Bohol Island. I wish to see the Chocolate Hills. I would love to go to Palawan to have some adventures, do some snorkeling and spend some time on the palm fringed beaches.

Guess what? I've been living in the Philippines for 28 years but never been to those places you mentioned. LOL. Yeah bohol is somewhere I'd love to go to. You might also want to try the underwater river in Palawan. I heard its really nice. It was even nominated for the 8th wonder of the world. :D

Hi, I'm a Filipina too and I love traveling around the Philippines because the Philippines is truly a very beautiful place. I have been to Bohol, Baguio, Boracay, Tagaytay, Subic, Dipolog, Ilocos and Palawan. The best vacation I have had is in Bohol because that is the most stress free vacation that I had but if you are looking for world class beaches, magnificent islands and crystal blue waters, I would suggest El Nido, Palawan. That place really looks like paradise!

I've never been to Bohol though I've planned in going several times already. Any beach or resort you can recommend? El Nido probably has to wait since the accomodations there are too pricey :D

Come over here in Batangas. Jk. But to tell you honestly there are so many beautiful sceneries here. Like taal volcano. And many beautiful mountains and seas. Yes, I also like to travel around the country Visayas, and Mindanao. I know that our nature is plentiful and very fantastic. But we should take care of them and not to destroy. This summer i want to go to boracay. And money, i need it. lol. I like crowded areas but not too much because i can meet new friends from there.

I've been to Boracay. It was fun but I didn't get to stay too long there. I guess I'll go back some other time. I want to try diving in Batangas. I heard that's where most professional divers go. Do you know any resort?

I only get to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. Unfortunately, the plane was delayed so instead of arriving there late morning, I got there early evening then my flight back was really early in the morning on the 3rd day. So basically, I only get to enjoy Boracay for one whole day!

Yes, you really should go back to Boracay. That's paradise to me and i know you'll agree with that! I suggest you come on Friday and stay for like five days. Weekends are the most important days because parties are alive.
Have you enjoyed scuba diving when you were there? What about parasailing, jetski, banana boat or even boating and snorkeling? I wish you had. There are other things you can do in Bora.

I haven't been to Maria Christina Falls too... I guess I'm missing a lot. That's already included in my list of places I want to go. Along with Sorsogon :)
