Can we Trace people Through their phone numbers from "INTERNET"?

Hello Friends recently their are many lies spoken by people during phone communication , Even my Friend Spoke lies to me , Inorder to catch their Lies I want to know can we Trace People's Location From their phone on Internet?Please Reply.

I think that would be a little hard. Check your network service provider if they have this kind of services because here we have that kind of tracing, the problem is we need to register the number being used and accept it first by the recipient, it's intended for the parents to know their sons/daughters location. But if your asking about tracking or tracing them using the internet, I think there haven't been that kind of service for free.
