virus attack!!! sos!!

well today i was surfing net...suddenly a pop up window open onto my screen n as soon as i clicked it...my system re-booted...n now itz not starting at all...am using xp (sp2)..any ideas on how to get it fixed...plzzz

If nothing else works and you are really stuck...you cant even go to safe mode...use ultimate boot cd or add me as friend and I'll try to help. And if you don't know how to get to safemode...keep pressing F8 at startup. Hope it helps

Try running windows in safe mode and when you enter safe mode, scan all your drivers. Hopefully it'll be enough. If not you should format it completely.
