"INTERNET -- GREAT or CURSE"?

I think that there are both good and bad things about the internet. The internet is great place to find information and communicate with other people. I have used the internet many ways, and it has definately been very useful for me. It is a great tool, but you need to learn how to use it. Children have to learn how to avoid the dangers like scams or people who abuse their personal information. It is easy to hide on the internet, it is easy to pretend that you are someone else, and there have been incidents where children have chatted with (and met) pedophiles who were pretending that they were children and not adults. I think that the internet is a great place to meet new people, and I have found some great friends through the internet, but you have to be careful when you agree to meet someone.

Even for a second if INTERNET stops working almost every country may suffer huge losses that can't be easily recovered and would lead to the recession due to breakdown in share market by Internet blockage. Internet is a very dangerous place place for children if not guided properly and at the same time a dangerous place also for adults who are not responsible when using the internet, so it could be great if is used accordingly and curse if you your not aware of the cons.
