Do you believe it is better to give than receive?

in my opinion everyone loves to get gifts, money etc. but there are very less people who prefers to give rather then receive. Frankly speaking I really want to give gifts to the person on birthday,marriage anniversery.. but i also expect the same thing from them. I don't know whether i will think correct or not...

well of course its better to give than receive. because its more honorable in my opinion. but its good to receive from someone too especially in your important days like your birthday.

Since I listen to my conscience I always prefer to give than receiving. Giving out has something different connotation than than receiving. Hence I go with the latter one.

well they say not to expect anything from anyone..but it is very good to help anyone in the way you can..and you may feel that its worthless and is of no use because you dont get anything from it...but i believe one day we would be repayed for the help we have given to others in one way or the other..because god is watching our actions
