If you have a severe deficiency then I would take Vitamin C pills really. I don't think you can compensate your deficiency by eating more fruit unless you go start eating 30 oranges. Apart from oranges, kiwis also contain a lot of vitamin c. Try it out :)

one rich source of vitamin c is guava, hope you can find it in your place. citrus fruit is also good source of vitamin c. if you want to get it fast then just take ribena (have you heard about ribena?). vitamin c has many benefits, check this out - http://www.squidoo.com/benefits--of--vitamin--c

I know oranges are packed with it, and the peels might taste bitter, but they hold more vitamin c than the actual flesh does. I think you should try and take supliiments, and drink lots of sunny delight!
