What happened to Norton, Arise of KAV

Why did norton lost its edge....why did all other antivirus application beat this norton....Norton used to be the best for a long time......long time ago,Now what i think is Kaspersky is on the top of all....hav guys used kaspersky 2010...kaspersky is very much user friendly and catches all the viruses.....if don't hav a antivirus....r in big troube....install a antivirus fast.....your pc is vulnerable to attacks....try kaspersky its gr8.....completely different,2010 has new feature that can repair you system settings.....virus attack is very bad......as i was a victim of virus,some time a ago...i could't install any application as the virus attacked my .exe file and i could'nt install a software and rum a programe and i had to completely format my pc....This is the only area kaspersky should take care of......as if the .exe file does'nt work....so how can anyone install an antivirus......
