What is Faith and where does it come from ?

The word faith is has become an household word, this is especially true in the church. faith is what moves people to action, faith enables us to act in ways not common to the natural every day self. for that reason a man would run into a burning building to save a Child because his faith tells him that he's under the protection of God. All people display a degree of faith in their everyday lives, when you get into your Car to leave for work faith is what tells you you're going to arrive at your destination safely, even when you put your money in a vendtig machine faith gives you confidence that the product you paid for will be produced. so now we know a little about faith but how do you get it and where does it come from? how is natural faith defferent from Holy Goast produced faith. please respond with supporting scriptures if u will but all comments will be appreciated, with or without.
