Oscar season is coming...Any pergformance/movies you wish got nominated?

yes, it's November and Oscar season has begun. Well, actually it's already begun earlier in the year when movies like Precious showing up in Sundance festival and stole many people's attention due to its heartbreaking story about an abused girl struggle to reach happiness in life. It's packed with very strong performances from Gabourey 'Gabby' Sidibe, Monique, Mariah Carey (yes, it's that singer) and Paula Patton and possible nominee for gabby, monique, and mariah and best picture. I haven't seen this one, so I cannot comment on the movie, but as last week, it racked up a whooping 6 million while only playing in about 300 screens, which is a very astonishing feat. other movie considered to grab a Best pic nom is The Hurt Locker. starring Jeremy Renner, this is a movie about iraqian war bomb tech team. I watched this, and it is a good movie about the soldier's life there. the bomb defusing action was pretty intense and it's interesting to see the psychological conflict among the soldiers. I don't think it's a really great war movie like Saving Private Ryan, it's more quiet and subtler, maybe since it's an indie movie. other movies considered is Up In The Air, Ingluorius Basterds (I love the german colonel sadistic performance!), Up, and many movies schedule to be released later this year not yet screened for critics such as Nine, Avatar, and Lovely Bones. So, any other performances or movies worthy for Oscar nest year? Share it here!
