u2 has lost it's creativity to pop

i remember when u2 use to be creative and had a different sound then any other band out there i don't know why they left that and have gone to this spiritual pop kinda music,they need to get back to when they couldn't afford all the equipment they have now..and just get back to the roots raw sound no oversampling gadgets and different sounds and instruments.just keep it raw..i'm starting to feel the same way with mettallica.
