People consider it a great time pass to have something to read on while journeying? What is your opinion about reading in journey? Is it a good time pass? what do you generally read while journeying?

I like to read books when traveling or while my husband is fishing so e-books would not work very well for me at all..... I enjoy true stories, drama, and romance. I have books even from Dr. Phil, Joyce Meyer and others of that nature... I like to keep my books in case I need or would want to trade with others for different types of books.

I like to read while I am travelling, and I usually bring some books and some magazines when I know that I will have to spend many hours on a bus or in a car. Sometimes I borrow a couple of books at the library and sometimes I buy some cheap books in a second hand shop. I also like to buy magazines in a second hand shop, because some of the magazines that I am interested in are pretty expensive when they are new and when I buy used magazines I can buy many magazines for the same price. I love reading and I think that is a great way to pass the time while I am travelling.

I have the habit of reading while on journey. But i do that depending on my mode of transportation. If i am in a bus or a crowded place. I don't read, but if i am in a private car most of time i will read, that is if i have no companion. But it is really a bad habit of reading, correct me if i am wrong, but medically speaking it will damage your eyesight.

I love to read whilst travelling. I usually pick collections of short stories, or the other extreme - doorstop sci-fi novels! Anything to keep me entertained when there's nothing interesting to stare out of the window at. And yes, it helps to pass the time. (I'm not good at reading on aeroplanes, though - I tend to feel sick...)
