Yea, i have a mutt... lol, She is a mixed breed, but I don't know what with. I have had a lot of people, even ones that have never seen a picture of her, tell us they think she is a pit bull - black lab mix, just by us explaining her.. She is black with white on her chest and the tips of her paws and tail. She has a little bit of red on her head. She has brown eyes. Her hair is straight, and short. She thinks she is the boss, and that she rules the house. She is very protective. She doesn't like anyone or anything in our yard, she doesn't like very many men either. She also doesn't like my neighbor's English bulldog, when she has a chance she attacks him and rolls him around like a bowling ball. Sometimes I think she thinks she's human. Sometimes she sits like a human, she cries like a human baby, sometimes on command, and she likes most people food. I think she is part kangaroo, too. She jumps like one when she gets excited. She stands up on her hind legs and hops too. She shares the same birthday as my sister (month and day ten years later) which is interesting to me. She is 3 years old. She was born in Virginia, and was given to us before we moved to Tennessee. She has a good nose, and me and her hunt mice in the field. She knows about when my step dad is coming home, and gets over excited. She cries when he leaves out for his job. The picture i have included is her. Tell me your thoughts about her and what breeds she might be. Her name is Princess.

From the coloring and body shape, I would also think that it might be a lab-pit bull mix. Her body shape is similar to my dog, who is also a mixed breed: bull mastiff and collie. It's possible she could have bull mastiff in her.

I would have to see a better shot of her head to answer quite honestly about the Pit. They tend to have wider lower jaws and are quite noticeable.. I had a pit mix My Tesla was 1/2 lab, 1/4 pit and 1/4 Chow. But I see that her body does look brindled and that is a strong pit bull trait.. mine was all so brindle (but she looked all black unless you saw her in the light) but in the picture I see a Defined "saddle" on her back, that is very indicative of a hound breed. too tall to be a beagle though. :)

I don't recognize her breed, but I like dogs also. I have a terrier named Tiger, I love her very much, and as yours she act as a human, She like playing with me, like eating eggs and fruits but don't dog food. She drinks milk everyday. She give our family a lot of happiness.

She does look very much like a cross between a black lab and a pit bull. But there are a few of the other terrier breeds that may be crossed with instead of the pit bull. Your description of her behavior is what many describe as pit bull behavior but is not necessarily so. It may be that she is a product of her enviornment and that she has not been shown the proper way to socialize with other dogs and men other than your step father.
