goa is an historical place

Goa is a wonderfully different Indian state. I’ve been there once but could not visit it extensively. I only visited the beaches and the famous churches which were so beautiful and well maintained and historically enriches the place. I could feel the distinct Portugese influence on the people and food and culture but I could not visit those areas which are more Indian like the Konkan places. So I plan to revisit Goa and find more about its roots and culture.
