Oprah Winfrey Moving her Show to Cable

Oprah Winfrey will announce that her show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" will be closing shop in September 2011 which would mark her 25th year. She will be moving her show to Los Angeles to her new Cable Network, "OWN". I wonder if the format will change or not. I'm happy she will still be around though. How about you? Your thoughts and comments welcomed.

I like show Rikki Lake, she is best and wish to see her shows and sorry that her show ends in sep 2011.

Where is the Rikki Lake show on? I think that is long gone in the states.

I only got part of the story; That she was leaving but that was it; I didn't know that she was taking the show to cable and all; I was told she was shutting it down; however, I won't be mad if that is what happen. I like her show and for a few months after the switch to digital happened, we couldn't watch her show anyway here so that was that.

I heard that today to. I was surprised. She had a good show today i thought. I imagine she'll stick pretty close to what she's always done. She'd be foolish to change something that has worked so well for her.

She said she was ending her show today but she didn't say anything about her network show, so I'm not sure what is going on now. We shall see. If she doesn't come back I will miss her so much. Thanks for responding.
