2012 movie discussions have run rampant.....

I wanted to see this movie. But MyLot is making me not want to. Not the site itself but nearly every time I have come to this interest in the past two weeks (9 times out of 10 anyway) to see what the new topic is, it has been about 2012. Why does everyone who wants to talk about this movie start a new topic? Why don't we start responding to the twenty some odd ones that are already existing? Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest because it has been making me a little crazy and frustrated. Anyone else?
