Met someone familiar but can’t remember where and when?

Yeah i do experience it a lot of times. Someone just smiles at me and i could only smiles back at them too, they knew my name but i don't know theirs, their face is familiar and i keep on thinking where did i meet them.

I encounter it most of the times i do remember most of the time the face but not really the name and it is quite embarrassing that they recognize me and know my name then carrying out a conversation. Then, their are tomes when it is suppose to bid goodbye I ask again the names of the person and ask like what your name again, which i really feel shy to ask their names for having a bit of amnesia. It is really unforgiven on my part that i am late to realize i have difficulty in remembering names but in the matter of the face telling i have no problem on it.
