So I really worry it's unsafe for our computer, especially when we check our bank account, I really worry my bank account will be stolen by the hacker. There are some ways that you can use to protect your computer from virus: 1. You can use the best free anti virus in the world right now, and in my opinion you can choose between AVG, Microsoft Security Essential (MSE), Avira and Bit defender. 2. If your computer have to let infected by a virus or more, then good way to scan is from safe mode system. You can use it by press F8 when your computer first boot. 3. Keep update your antivirus, and use the latest mozilla firefox for your safety. 4. The most attacked side by virus is windows and system file, so better you make two or more partition. In this case separate windows file with your archive. So when your computer get trouble and you don't have any choice anymore, you can reinstall the windows without have to lost your important file. 5. Use hijackthis.exe This application can analyze and stop the process of any hidden process while your computer run. So you will know if your computer infected by virus, malware, spyware or not. 6. IF you don't want to confuse and want to keep surfing also safe, use Deepfreeze. This is a software that can freeze your partition in harddisk. So every time your computer restart or shutdown it will be back or restore too their first setting like system restore in windows. So any malicious program, virus, malware will disappear and your computer back to normal. I suggest you freeze your windows partition because it's the most important part. But there is a lack in this program. you cannot install anything in the partition that have been freeze. So you should uninstall it first. Well that all i can say to you, hope it will be useful and thank friend

No, not at all. If I am using the latest antivirus which I regularly update, I don't fear anything about viruses. Why should I do that if I am having the latest security. My suggestion to you is to use Kaspersky or Avira antivirus program.

I believe there is a conspiracy between the software companies and hackers .I think both are in collusion and as if you notice as soon as a anti virus comes out for a particular virus ,another virus comes out .Consequently the only one who benefits is the anti virus software manufacturers .So I guess the best you can do is to make sure you have the latest anti virus software

I don't buy the anti-virus software, just use free of charge software. And it updated by itself. I will consider to buy a anti-virus software to kill the virus, maybe it will be useful. thank you for your response.

If you don't do internet banking and don't have documents with your bank account data, then there's nothing to worry about. You can't steal something that isn't there.

think green use unix or linux. The main reason for viruses infecting windows is that all types of files have execute permission in windows so prone to virus attack in linux architectue files are readonly by default so thats the trick it is free and free from virus problems.

Hey.. It is natural that ur computer will affected by all types of hecks(virus, malwares, adwares, tracking cookies, spyware etc) while surfing the internet..Internet is a very vast source of hecks..to prevent this u must have an extremely reputed and highly recommended anti virus software..Please go to any forums and search for user ratings and reviews of different av's..Whichever is acceptable for u...please try it..i recommend u avg internet security or bitdefender total protection.. Please update it regularly and perform regular scan..On ur daily scan a loy of tracking cookies will be removed..that doesnt stands under a severe threat..If ur av is a good one it will automatically block all threats..

There are so many virus waiting to our computer. If you don't care a little, they will go to damage my computer. At first, because my OS is not newest, we should often renew my OS, and give some patch to them. We also need some antivirus, and we should not open the program we don't know. We as little as possible install software. Anyway, take care of your computers every day.

I never have an anti virus and also a virus, if a virus invaded my computer i remove it manually in the registry settings, and every step that i know to remove it. I don't trust anti virus software, as you may know, those company who created the anti virus software are also the ones who are creating the viruses. Almost every day there is a new virus. I always update my self on what are the new names and extensions of the viruses every week. I am not afraid of hacker cause as much as we are careful about logging in and using the internet, we do not have to worry about them. Be careful before logging in onto a website, there are fake websites that can steal your username and passwords. Like paypal, there are people who copy the paypal welcome page and log in page whereas so many people has been fooled by it. Then after logging in, you will notice that it is not continuing in the page that you are expecting. Then there it is, easy money for them, we call that phising. To avoid being fooled by this junkies, create a new paypal account that is empty, meaning it is only your dummy then before logging into paypal with yout real username and password, try the dummy account first, if it is safe then, logged now your real account. It may take time though, but it is better than to cry later. Do not open websites that you do not know, because this websites have lots of worms and viruses that can harm your computer. If your computer is already penetraded with a virus or software. Close all internet connections, and do the basic, scan the whole computer. This method is only for those people who are using anti virus softwares. Then if the problem is still there. Try to look at the vault for the complete name of the virus and then search it at the registry, be careful while searching and deleting files with the registry cause it may ruin your computer. If your not used to doing it, just sitck with the anti virus software that you have. Another good method of defending your system with viruses. This is a tutorial from my friend who is a great hacker and i think he is now working at the mircrosoft. I do not know where he is now cause it's almost 2 years since we last met. Anyway, he is really good and here is his tutorial for me for those who are dependent on softwares. use 3 anti virus... One anti virus for cleaning. One anti spyware, i know there are anti virus today that have bundles but do not stick with it, try looking for a different sypware software. Then one anti virus defender. Like a firewall but much effective than a firewall. That's what he thought me last time we met. But now i am not using those cause i know now how to protect my pc from viruses and even how to deal with them. I hope this response helps. Thank you for the time and have a nice day.

Why? Because the creator of Anti-viruses programs want to earn more. No doubt, computer viruses was created by those companies who created the Anti-virus program. If there's no creator of viruses there's no anti-virus. In other words, programmers of viruses are also the programmers of antiviruses.
